I was trying to beat match using the inbuilt PlayItLive Segue editor, I got it to sound clean and great, but when it ended up playing out on air, the segue seemed delayed and offbeat. I tried lowering PlayItLive buffer length but this didn't seem to make a difference. I can imagine this would be an issue even if just trying to create a perfect segue, rather than beat matching.

PlayIt Live is only accurate to 100ms (at best) for starting the next track in live-assist. I'm afraid it is not possible to make this accurate to a beat matching level - there is specific software for that.
