Playout Policy Conflict

Good afternoon PlayIt Software Forum Members.  I just discovered something about a playout policy for a grouped track group that's affecting the playout policy of a filtered track group.  We are featuring our Beautiful Music Orchestras from the United Kingdom for the upcoming National Tea Day Celebration on 21Apr25.  There are 1,652 tracks in our filtered track group.  The playout policy is track 48 hours; artist 6 hours; title 8 hours and is only selected for the National Tea Day filtered track group.  These tracks are also categorized in our General Use Track Group.  That playout policy is track 100 hours; artist 6 hours; title 18 hours and is only selected for the General Use Grouped Track Group.  Since we are located in Los Angeles, we are scheduling the special on 20Apr25 at 4pm (PDT) through 21Apr25 at 4pm.  As I'm attempting to schedule Sunday's programming, I kept getting unscheduled tracks appearing on the playout log.  I revised the filtered playout policy to track 2 hours; artist 30 minutes; title 2 hours and still got unscheduled tracks appearing on the playout log.  I thought let me disable the General Use Track Group Playout Policy to see if that affects the National Tea Day filtered track group.  It worked.  So, I set the filtered track group's playout policy back to the original settings; track 48 hours; artist 6 hours; title 8 hours.  I generated another playout log for Sunday from 8p-12a.  Thank you LORD!  No unscheduled tracks.  I've attached the playout log as documentation for anyone who might encounter something similar to what I just did.  Jason, are the playout policies supposed to be independent from each other?  It appears that one playout policy does affect another playout policy when tracks exist in both track groups.  My workaround will be to disable the grouped track group's playout policy when generating a playout log for the filtered track group.  I'll try that for Monday's programming from 12a-4p.  Let me know if this is the correct solution to the problem.  Thanks.  Have a Blessed Day, Dan

Good evening PlayIt Live Forum Members.  Just wanted to follow up to my original post.  I was able to successfully schedule the 12a-4p hours for our National Tea Day Special.  Attached is the playout log for those hours.  I'm noticing that PlayIt Live is scheduling filler tracks from our General Use Track Group in certain hours.  You'll see the track group under the reason column.  Not sure if this is normally the case when scheduling a custom filtered track group.  This is our biggest broadcast on KJBM and it's the first time we've attempted it with PlayIt Live.  Jason, Thank You!!  We definitely gave your software a workout today and am extremely pleased that we're officially ready for this weekend.  It took about 5 hours to trial and error the playout log and eliminate the unscheduled tracks  I just need to browse the Advert Scheduler and make sure all of the adverts have a good rotation for our special.  Let me know how I can prevent track groups not scheduled in the clock from being scheduled in the future.  Thank you again for the reliability and dependability of PlayIt Live.  Have a Blessed Evening, Dan
