Using Voice Recorder instead of Play It Live Voice Tracking?

Would it be an infringement to use my Voice Recorder instead of the

Play It Live Voice Tracking Plugin to record my voice for Station ID's etc.

since I can't afford the Voice Tracking Plugin?
