Apologies for the delay in response. The latency is introduced by Windows, I'm afraid. The only way to resolve this is to use a hardware mixer with a hard wired XLR microphone and then stream the output of the mixer. The Microphone Mix plugin is designed to get users started who don't yet have a hardware setup.
