Is Now Playing plugin limited to {{artist}} and {{title}}?

We need to send "now playing" updates that include more track metadata then these two fields, e.g. album title. Can the Now Playing plugin do it? If not, is there another approach I could investigate?

Album name is important if you are using StreamLicensing in the US as they require the album name in your streamed metadata.
