Is there a way to setup PlayItLive to import an m3u file as if it were a track in the playlist? Essentially you'd reach a command in the playlist where you need to merge your current playlist with the contents of the m3u file. PlayIt would then play the contents of that playlist and then return to normal programming. This would be used for traffic merges mainly.

You cannot insert a playlist into the log, but you can use a Scheduled Event to insert an M3U playlist at a specific time (or recurring time) to play next after the currently playing track:
