Break Notes are used to introduce a timed break into your broadcast. For example, you can insert a 2 minute break note with some text explaining what you want to talk about. This will introduce 2 minutes of silence which you can talk over if you mix your output with a microphone. Some people also use it as a silence break where news is overlaid from an external source.
